Customer Portal - Some Fields Become Read-Only on Assigned Jobs

What’s New: Certain fields will become read-only on the Customer Portal when an interpreter is assigned to the job.

Who Can Use This: Internal users can enable this as a customer-wide setting. This is not enabled by default.

Where to Set It Up:  Admin -> Company -> Configuration -> field Appointment Lock On Assignment

How to Use It: If enabled, the date, start time, duration, service type, and location fields will all be come read-only via the Customer Portal on any job, once an Interpreter has been assigned to the job. The language field is not locked. 

These fields will unlock and be editable if the interpreter is unassigned.

Team jobs:  If only one of the jobs is assigned, all of the team jobs will be locked, even if they are not yet assigned. 

The Requestor will be able to edit other fields on an Assigned Booking. The Edit Freeze will also prevail as normal if enabled. Please see Booking Freeze for additional information.
