What's New: There is now an Insurance Type select list field on the customer profile.
Where: Manage Customers menu > select a customer > General Information tab
How to Use It: The dropdown list is blank by default. To create the dropdown list, a request must be submitted via support@interpreterintelligence.com with the listed values. The list cannot be populated by end users. Note: We ask that the request for list creation be as accurate and complete as possible to avoid the need for revision requests.
Once the list is created, any customer can be identified as an Insurance Type customer for billing purposes by selecting one of the values from the Insurance Type dropdown. The list of customers marked as Insurance Type then display in their own Insurance Companies section on the Job Details page (see below), if the user is modifying the Customer Bill To field on any job.
What's New: The customer Bill To Customer field will display an additional section of customers defined as Insurance Companies on the Job Details page.
What's New: If an agency has any Customer with an Insurance Type selected, the Customer Bill To field will be mirrored in the Appointment Details section in a field called Bill To. If the field is modified, the Customer Bill To field will also be modified as they are linked. This field is visible to internal agency users only and is not visible on the Customer or Interpreter portal when viewing the Job Details page.
Note: If an agency is not using the Insurance Type field, no Insurance Company section or additional Appointment Details Bill To field will display on the Job Details page.
Imports: The Insurance Type values can be imported using the Customer Import file when creating new customers or updating existing customer profiles (once the Insurance Type list has been created).
Exports: The Insurance Type values can be included in the booking export using the Manage Customers > Export > Export Customers booking export.
The Insurance Type values are included in the Export Invoices & Payments Expanded > Full Details report.
