Pass Through Rates Enabled
Video Demo Pass Through Rate Settings (3 min w/audio)
Rates can be set on the interpreter rate plan that will be passed to the customer rate plan in place of the customer's currently defined rates. The Pass Through Rates does not work in the opposite direction (e.g. from customer to interpreter).
To enable this:
On the Interpreter Rate Plan only, check the box Pass Through Rates Enabled and Save.
Once saved, go to the Base Rates tab on the interpreter rate plan and enter in the desired hourly rate to pass through to the customer in place of the customer's currently defined hourly rate. Repeat this process for each service type, rate qualification service types and Language Tier service type entries as applicable. The Pass Through Rate (per hour) field defaults to 0.
On the Customer Rate Plan only, check the box Use Interpreter Rates and Save. This enables the customer to pick up the hourly rates defined on any interpreter rate plan using the Pass Through Rates setting if that interpreter rate plan is on the customer's job.
Note: It is not possible to check Pass Through Rates Enabled on the Interpreter rate plan; this is a read-only field.
Pass Through Rate Zone
When the flag is set on the interpreter rate plan, the
customer-associated rate zone will apply to the interpreter. When the flag is set on the customer
rate plan, the interpreter-associated rate zone will apply to the customer. Note: Split charges
can be used as well to pick up the rates in the respective zones as applicable if the job crosses
zones.
Pass Through Incidentals.
This feature offers various setting options. For a full discussion, please see Incidentals Behavior - Billable/Payable Configuration Options on Rate Plans

Pass Through Minimum Durations
Uses the minimum durations defined on the other rate plan (interpreter or customer) in place of any minimum durations defined on this rate plan.
Pass Through Billing Increments
Uses the billing increments on the other rate plan
(interpreter or customer) in place of any billing increments defined on this rate plan. For
example, if you set the checkbox on the Customer rate plan, then the Billing Increments from
the Interpreter rate plan will apply to the customer rate plan.
Pass-Through Cliff Minutes
Uses the cliff minutes defined on the other rate plan (interpreter
or customer) in place of any cliff minutes defined on this rate plan.
In summary, the setting circled in red works in one direction only. The 4 settings circled in purple work in the opposite direction, i.e. settings from the opposite rate plan will apply to the current rate plan
when they are checked on this rate plan.
