What is this field used for?
This is a free text field which allows any name or identifier to be entered and later that information can be used to filter for specific jobs. For example, a team of four schedulers can be assigned as the owner of individual jobs by entering their name in the owner field. The scheduler would then filter for their jobs using the Owner field on Manage Jobs. As this is a free text field, it is recommended to use a consistent naming convention to identify assigned owners.
The booking export can include the Owner field for data collection.
This new free text field field will appear on the Assignments tab for Internal users only, it can be populated at Job Creation or afterwards. It is not visible on Customer or Interpreter portals.
The field is at Job level, i.e. can be changed on individual Jobs under the same Booking.
The field will be available on the Manage Jobs and Financial Review grids.
The field can be included in a Bookings Export and will be included in Export Invoices Expanded - Full Details.
The field can be added to templates using the snippet ${booking.owner?:""}
The field is not specifically audited, a change will be recorded as an update, but the owner changes are visible in the audit history export.
Changes to this field do not trigger any Notifications.
Using the Owner field on individual jobs
The owner field is located on the Assignments tab of any job
If an owner is assigned to one job in a recurring series, there is the option to assign on a per-job basis or across multiple jobs
The Owner field can display in the grid view of the following pages and can be filtered
Manage Jobs grid
Financial Review grid
When exporting bookings, Owner can be included in the export
