Job Details Page
Preferred Interpreter: Check on the Job Details page to see if there is a preferred interpreter.
Assign Interpreter Page
Booking Filters: If there are any booking filters on the job, double check the interpreter profile to see if they have those booking filters on their profile and, if so, are they valid?
Is one of the checkboxes causing the exclusion?
1. Enter the interpreter’s name in the Name column to filter for that particular interpreter.
2. Expand the Job Summary (Show / Hide) section of the page
3. Uncheck each of the following checkbox to see if the interpreter name appears:
Proximity Search On / Off (see Proximity Setting Options at the bottom of this document)
Available Interpreters Only
Consumer Exclusions
Customer Exclusions
Interpreter Exclusions
If the interpreter name appears, re-check each item until the interpreter name disappears from the Assign List to pinpoint which of the checkboxes is triggering the ineligibility.
Marked Unavailable or Declined Offer: This box needs to be checked in order to display names of interpreters who have declined the offer or who are unavailable for the job offer.
Interpreter Profile: (Manage Contacts)
Activation: Confirm that the interpreter is in Active status from the Manage Contacts page
Services tab: Check to see if all services are enabled, or if the interpreter is only enabled for specific services. Check the job service type to see if it is excluded from the interpreter’s list of enabled services.
Availability:
General calendar entry may be excluding the interpreter from availability for that day of the week / time of day. Scroll up and down completely on the calendar to ensure that no errant entries are set at the beginning or end of the calendar times.
Specific calendar may have the interpreter off for that specific date.
FYI:
- The interpreter's preferences / exclusions are set on the Interpreter profile under the Exclusions & Preferences tab from the Manage Contacts page.
- The consumer preferences / exclusions are set on the Consumer profile under the Exclusions & Preferences tab from the Manage Consumers page.
- The customer preferences and exclusions are set under the Customer profile from the Admin menu > Customers menu > Consumers tab (not from the Manage Customers menu)
Proximity Setting Options
Proximity can be configured at the Company level and apply to all jobs across all customers.
Admin menu > Company menu > Configuration tab > Field name Radius for Self Assignment
Proximity can be configured at the Customer level and apply to all jobs for that customer only. If proximity is set on the customer level, this takes precedence over the proximity set at the Company level.
Admin menu > Customers menu > General Config. tab > Field name Radius for Automated Assignment
Proximity can be configured at the Interpreter level and act as a filter to exclude interpreters from showing as available for job offers outside of the defined radius. If proximity is set on an individual interpreter profile, this takes precedence over the proximity setting on the Customer and Company level for this interpreter only.
