Face To Face

  • In Person Interpreting
  • Jobs are created by schedulers or via the customer portal in advance in the system

Video (Scheduled)

  • Scheduled Video Interpreting Services using the Interpreter Intelligence video platform
  • Jobs are created by schedulers or via the customer portal in advance in the system and completed by the II video portal
  • The job must be in either Assigned or Confirmed status for the Video Ready email notification which sent to all parties on the job who have an email address (Customer/Requestor, Interpreter, Consumer) as well as any additional email addresses listed in the Notifications Email field on the job. By default, this email is sent 60 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled time.
  • The time that the Video Ready emails are sent out can be adjusted via the Admin > Company > Notifications page > # Minutes Prior for Scheduled Video Reminder field. 

VRI (On Demand)

  • Video Remote Interpreting
  • On Demand Video interpreting service started from requestor portal and picked up by available interpreter agents OR routed to BHUB interpreters (if BHUB included in services)
  • Jobs are automatically created in the Interpreter Intelligence platform; they are never created by schedulers or via the customer portal.

Phone (Scheduled)

  • Scheduled Phone Interpreting Services using the Interpreter Intelligence phone platform
  • Jobs are created by schedulers or via the customer portal in advance in the system and completed by II phone portal
  • The job must be in either Assigned or Confirmed status for the Phone Ready email notification which sent to all parties on the job who have an email address (Customer/Requestor, Interpreter, Consumer) as well as any additional email addresses listed in the Notifications Email field on the job. By default, this email is sent 60 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled time.
  • The time that the Phone Ready emails are sent out can be adjusted via the Admin > Company > Notifications page > # Minutes Prior for Scheduled Phone Reminder field. 

OPI (On Demand)

  • Over Phone Interpreting
  • On Demand Phone interpreting service started from requestor portal and picked up by available interpreter agents OR routed to BHUB Interpreters (if the BHUB connector is included in services)
  • Jobs are automatically created in the Interpreter Intelligence platform; they are never created by schedulers or via the customer portal.

3rd Party Video (Scheduled)

  • Scheduled video service by third party video link (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Google Meet)
  • Jobs are created by schedulers or via the customer portal in advance in system and completed by 3rd party video connection.
  • The link to the 3rd party video platform is provided by the customer. This link can be copy/pasted into the Job Details note field of the job or into a free-text reference field so that it is visible to all parties at the time of the scheduled call.

3rd Party Phone (Scheduled)

  • Scheduled phone service by third party phone methods
  • Jobs are created by schedulers or via the customer portal in advance in system and completed by 3rd party phone connection using each participants own mobile device to call one another or add participants to a conference call. The conference call number can be entered into the Job Details note field or into a free-text reference field so that it is visible to all parties at the time of the scheduled call.
