Override invoice or payment when the job duration crosses zones
Scenario: Interpreter is paid $35/hr for standard zone (9 am to 6:45 pm) and $45/hr for premium zone (all other hours outside of standard). For this particular job, the interpreter will be paid $55 standard rate for 2 hrs and 15 min, and $65 premium rate for 15 minutes, using the Prepare Payment override in financial review. Because the override does not calculate across rate zones, use the override and incidental combination to achieve the desired outcome
Override Duration for the length of the job occurring in the standard rate zone (165 minutes)
Add an Interpretation Incidental for the dollar amount to be paid to the interpreter for the 15 minutes in the premium rate zone. Mark the incidental checkbox Payable to pay the interpreter only.
