The margins report can be run from either the Receivables or Payables page and will include records for Invoices and Payments dated within the date range specified.

Date Ranges on Margins Report

If there is a job that is included in an invoice for the month of April but the job was included in a Payment for the month of May, running the report for the month of May will display the Payment amounts as expected, but the Invoice amounts will display as zeros. Please broaden the date range to include both April and May so that both the invoiced amounts and the payment amounts display in the margins report.

Run the Report

From the Accounts menu, select Receivables (this report can be run from Accounts Payables; it is the same report).

Select an option to run the report as Standard or Full Details.

  • Standard provides the following payment columns: Payment Total Excluding Tax, Payment Total, Payment Hourly Rate and Paid Duration.
  • Full Details provides all data up to and including the above-noted payment information as well as additional columns of information including, but not limited to, Interpreter name and ID, requestor name, and all reference fields included in any of the jobs as well as the information stored in the reference fields.

Click on the Invoices tab.
Set your date range to include the date(s) the invoices and the payments were created
Filter for anything additional (e.g. customer name)
Under the Refresh button dropdown, click on Export Margins Report (either Standard or Full Details).

Download the Report
You can download the report as follows: From the Admin menu, select Import/Export. Then click on the Export tab You will see 'margins-report export ...' and a download button to the far right on that line item.
